Neil Dennis brings extensive domestic and international mergers and acquisitions experience with substantial involvement at all phases of the M&A life cycle including corporate strategy, sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and closing to Woodbridge. Prior to joining, Neil was a Vice President for State Street Corporation and was responsible for negotiations, strategy and business development for large asset management and institutional clients. Previous to State Street, Neil was a mergers and acquisitions principal with Allianz SE, executing both strategic and financial transactions across a variety of segments and geographical locations. In this role, Neil spent two years in Munich, Germany executing large M&A transactions from an international perspective. Neil holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in Business Administration and an MBA from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Daniel’s role will focus on assisting our North American and International Closers with tracking bids. His main objective is to make sure the sale runs efficiently and Woodbridge clients receive the highest possible sales price for their business.
After interning and working part-time for two years in the both New Haven, CT and CapeTown, South Africa offices, Daniel joined Woodbridge full-time. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a BS in International Business, with a focus in Finance.
Dan has extensive investment banking experience structuring and executing M&A transactions across a wide-range of industries and deal structures. Prior to joining Woodbridge, Dan served as a VP in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Wells Fargo, focusing on the Energy, Power & Utilities sectors. He began his investment banking career in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Deutsche Bank, advising clients primarily in the Industrials, Energy and FinTech sectors. Dan holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business.
Bryan brings an extensive investment banking background to Woodbridge clients. His transaction experience includes all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raisings and valuation analyses. Prior to joining Woodbridge, Bryan served as COO for Jones Companies, having been promoted from VP, Partnerships, Strategy & Corporate Development. Previously, Bryan led and successfully negotiated transactions across a range of industries for BMO Capital Markets. Earlier in his career, he worked as an analyst at Bank of New York and Putnam Lovell NBF. Bryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Colorado at Boulder.
Michael C. Muzzy specializes in providing strategic business planning services. Prior to co-founding his consulting firm Equity Transfers in 1996, Mike was chief financial officer and a board member of Bennett X-Ray Technologies. Previously, he served as a manager of accounting and auditing at Laventhol & Horwath, where he developed multi-disciplined experience with middle market companies in numerous industries. Mike is a founding member of the Long Island Angel Network, Inc. and is a Certified Public Accountant and Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of New York. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Adelphi University.
Kenneth S. Bernstein is a successful C-Level M&A executive, with 23 years of mergers and acquisition, investment banking, corporate finance and SEC regulation experience. Previously, he co-founded two international health and beauty acquisition companies specializing in consolidation of the highly fragmented professional health beauty retail sector. One of those companies became an NMS NASDAQ publically traded entity exceeding revenues of $100million. Ken has vast experience in multiple roll-up transactions, specializing in health and beauty manufacturing and distribution, retail, consumer goods, industrial manufacturing and distribution. He also has vast experience in Investment banking and public and private offerings. He holds a certified public accounting certification, and is also a licensed real estate agent in the State of Colorado. He received a BS in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
Derek is an accomplished corporate development and mergers and acquisitions professional with extensive finance and mergers and acquisitions experience across industries. Prior to joining Woodbridge, Derek was the Vice President of Corporate Development for Sony DADC New Media Solutions, Sony’s cloud-based platform-as-a-service digital video distribution service. In his executive role at Sony, Derek led all potential acquisitions, divestitures and investments, corporate development, long-range planning, forecasting and oversaw the Global Video P&L. As part of his role, Derek was on Sony DADC New Media Solutions Executive Management Committee.
Prior to Sony, Derek led and sold his family’s 35-employee audio/video installation business, was a financial and strategic consulting to a number of companies across industries, and led strategic planning for EMI Music. He began his post-business school career managing mergers and acquisitions for EY.
Derek holds an MBA in Finance from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and a BS in Business Administration from Miami University (OH).
Conor’s role is to ensure Woodbridge’s marketing campaigns succeed. He serves as an advocate for our sellers by contacting all buyers/investors who have expressed interest in their business. Conor answers buyers’ initial questions, provides additional information and motivates them to submit offers. Prior to joining Woodbridge, Conor held marketing, sales and administrative positions at ADP and other companies. He earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
Roy D. Sutton, III is a successful C-Level and M&A executive. He brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate P&L and sales management, investment banking and corporate finance to assist clients with projects. Before joining Woodbridge, he was a commercial lender for Union Bank and an owner/partner with the roles of CFO, COO & EVP for several national businesses. Having been a principal or facilitator in over 100 transactions, Roy provides financial and operational advice to entrepreneurs and middle-market business owners on strategies to maximize their company’s value.
Roy works primarily in manufacturing, distribution, business services and IT projects. Roy experience also includes entertainment, art, video and film. After attending the University of Southern California, Roy lived in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Sacramento, Boston and now lives in Jacksonville with his wife and two daughters.
Mr. Sekhon has direct investment and M&A experience in numerous transactions representing over $500 million in market value. His industry experience includes enterprise software, manufacturing, business services, medical devices, wireless communications, RF integrated circuits, semiconductors, environmental remediation and commercial real estate. Since 1995, Mr. Sekhon has served as a director or observer on the Board of Directors of twelve portfolio companies and one Small Business Investment Company (SBIC). Tex has been instrumental in the structuring and funding of numerous entrepreneurial endeavors. Mr. Sekhon has led several equity investments in various retail, office, multifamily, industrial, and land acquisitions and developments representing over $100 million in total project value. Tex holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of North Texas. Tex has industry expertise in aviation and technology.
